Identify and contact current and prospective clients
Generate sales proposals and service existing accounts
Ensure quality and consistency of service and / or product delivery
Plan visits to existing accounts in assigned territory per timeframe set by the department
Suggest products for account to order and facilitate problems to be corrected; establish and maintain rapport with accounts in order to continue a positive business relationship for the department
Prepare action plans and schedule to identify specific targets and to project number of contacts to be made; follows up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity
Attend operational meetings and participate in strategic planning for the enterprise. Represent the department at regional and national industry conferences and trade exhibits
Develop and supervise the preparation, issuance, and delivery of sales materials; work with marketing staff to develop and produce specialty sale materials as needed
Oversee new and existing account services through quality checks and other follow-up as specified per department requirements;
identify and resolve client concerns
Prepare a variety of status reports, including trends in territory, upcoming events, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals;
report on special developments, information, concerns or feedback gathered through field activity
Address and resolve customer service inquiries, requests and complaints
Minimum three years of relevant work experience will be an asset
Experience in supplier relationship management
Excellent MS Office user (especially Excel & PowerPoint)
Excellent knowledge of the English language
Strong communications skills, client oriented, team spirit with flexibility and dynamism
Ability to establish a rapport with individuals at all levels of an organization
Ability to travel
