Within this framework, we are looking for a highly-motivated "Telecom Engineer" to join INTRACOM TELECOM's Software Development Center in Thessaloniki.
Responsibilities
Develop advanced software for 5G Network products that are based on Cloud Native architecture. The technical domain ranges from 5G Core Network applications to 5G NR (New Radio)
Learn from experienced engineers about the Cloud native architecture, 5G core networks, large scale system design, contemporary programming languages and techniques, Agile ways of working and state of the art software engineering practices
Requirements
BSc or higher degree in : Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering or other related discipline
Good knowledge of at least one of the following programming languages : C++, Java etc. Knowledge of Go programming language will be a plus
Knowledge on scripting languages and Linux based shell scripting
Familiar with different Linux flavors (experience in Linux system programming will be considered a plus)
Familiarity with S / W development environment and verification frameworks (Eclipse and / or Visual studio code, JCAT, GitHub, Gerrit etc.)
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
Flexible to travel abroad for short term periods
Nice to Have
Work experience in related fields will be favorably assessed
Good knowledge of Telecommunication networks and / or IT network protocols
Exposure to 5G RAN Architecture will be highly appreciated
Exposure to : Restful APIs / RAML, Containers, Docker, Microservices, Kubernetes, Java reactive will be considered a plus
Exposure to TCP, TLS, HTTP / 2, JSON / YAML / XML
Exposure to AI / ML would be a plus
Cloud native tools : Istio, Spinnaker, Jaeger, Helm, Envoy, Prometheus etc.
Virtualization platforms (e.g. Openstack, VMware, Redhat Openstack)
Experience in databases, web and client-server development
Embedded programming
Completion of military obligations

Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
Excellent communication skills, able to accurately present the team's activities in various international events, summits and meetups
