The role

To support our daily business, we are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our IT team as Junior IT Administrator.

Key Activities

  • Responsible to manage, configure and troubleshoot Enterprise IT services.
  • Manage of IT cloud services, including, Google, Atlassian, Microsoft.
  • Responsible to support branch offices through physical and remote support.
  • Create and maintain documentation as it relates to end-user manuals, network and server configuration and support processes.
  • Provide training and orientation to end users for all modified and new systems according to IT processes.
  • Engaged in troubleshooting sessions for identification and resolution of problems affecting systems performance, efficiency, and availability.
  • Plan and implement desktop and server upgrades, maintenance fixes, and vendor-supplied patches in regards to configuration and permission management.
  • Engaged on research on new software and systems to support purchasing efforts.
  • Handle and interact with vendors along with procurement team, during new systems acquisition.
  • Implement any improvement, replacement or modification of IT infrastructure components in regards to IT processes.
  • Able to understand and follow company internal policies and processes.

  • Requirements

    Knowledge / Skills / Experience

  • BSc / MSc in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Prior IT support experience 1-3 years.
  • Working experience in hardware maintenance & troubleshooting, including, Servers, Tape Drives, HDD, RAM, Peripherals.
  • Knowledge of network systems such as LAN, WAN, Wireless.
  • Knowledge of IT service, including, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Enterprise Antivirus.
  • Knowledge in cloud services (GSuite, Office 365, Atlassian Tools, Slack)
  • Basic knowledge with Windows Server 2016, Windows 7 / 8 / 10, Mac OS and Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS).
  • Basis system administration scripting in Python and Powershell would be a plus.
  • Knowledge of backup software, such as, NetBackup and backup / restore technologies would be a plus.
