Due to the continued growth of our practice and consistently high demand for our services, we are now recruiting experienced professionals at the grade of Manager for our Governance, Risk and Compliance Services team in Athens.
The role entails :
Deal effectively with ambiguous and unstructured problems and situations across or with industry focus (e.g., Financial Services, Consumer Products, Manufacturing, Construction, Energy, etc.)
Initiate open and candid coaching conversations at all levels
Move easily between big picture thinking and managing relevant detail
Anticipate stakeholder needs, and develop and discuss potential solutions, even before the stakeholder realises they are required
Contribute technical knowledge in area of specialism
Contribute to an environment where people and technology thrive together to accomplish more than they could apart
Navigate the complexities of cross-border and / or diverse teams and engagements
Initiate and lead open conversations with teams, clients and stakeholders to build trust
Work and / or lead a team to deliver client engagements, taking ownership for one or more workstreams / engagements
Scoping, financial management, managing delivery risk, production and review of deliverables
Application of common sense / commercial awareness / knowledge obtained during the project to assess the quality and reliability of information supplied
Participate in proposal development efforts for client engagement opportunities
Contributing to innovation and practice management, e.g. new services, training, knowledge management
What we are looking for :
At least 6 years of previous working experience in an internal audit position or in the fields of audit (internal or external), risk management, compliance, business advisory, etc.
Strong academic record, including a Bachelor’s / Master’s degree from a top-tier university in Internal Audit, Corporate Governance, Risk Management, Business Administration, Management, Financial Accounting or other related field
Excellent computer skills, proficient user of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Ability to express ideas verbally and in writing, in a clear, concise and professional manner (both in English and Greek)
A confident and positive attitude, focused on teamwork and communication with colleagues and clients at all levels
Experience in managing and mentoring junior staff and lead teams on the fieldwork
Ability to work well as part of a multi-functional team with a flexible and team-focused style
Ability to be agile in changing circumstances both internally and externally when dealing with client issues
Excellent business sense and commercial awareness
Ability to synthesise multiple and disparate sources of information into a coherent and compelling point of view
Excellent financial and business analytical skills
Ability to multitask effectively, and to balance client delivery and internal responsibilities
Ability to work independently with limited supervision
Military services fulfilled for male candidates
Any of the following will be considered an asset :
Working experience within Consumer products, Manufacturing, Construction and Energy sectors.
A relevant professional qualification (CIA, CRMA, CCSA, ACCA etc.).
Experience with data analysis tools such as ACL, SAS, Qlikview, Tableau or similar.
