As a result of our rapid growth, we are looking for a Software Engineer to further develop and maintain the MarineTraffic ecosystem of platforms and tools (billing / payment platforms, CRM, ERP etc.)

Typical Tasks & Activities

  • Development and maintenance of the MarineTraffic billing / payment platform
  • Integrations with 3rd party billing / payment systems (subscription management, payment gateways etc.)
  • Development of business solutions on top of the MarineTraffic CRM and ERP platforms
  • Daily catch-ups with your team, discussing or working on issues

    • Accountabilities

  • Development effort estimation
  • Quality of delivered code (performance, readability, documentation)
  • Engineering best practices (documentation, versioning etc.)

    • Required

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent knowledge of PHP
  • Experience developing using RESTful APIs
  • Excellent written and oral English language communication skills
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills

    • Desired

  • Experience in APEX (or Java) programming language
  • Strong knowledge of SQL syntax
