We are constantly growing and are currently looking for an experienced Ticketing Officer to join a top qualified and knowledgeable team in our Athens Office.

Role Summary :

You will be part of the Group Administration team and you will be supporting the optimum management of the ticketing process.

What you will need to do :

  • Issue tickets as per relevant ticketing policy at corporate, country and project level as per relevant guidelines.
  • Monitor all active agreements with travel agencies and airlines throughout the countries of responsibility.
  • Liaise with travel agencies and airlines as and if required, in coordination with the line manager.
  • Read and analyze thoroughly the ticketing fare rules and regulations.
  • Support new technologies i.e. GDS, NDC and adopt to process improvements.
  • Complete timely relevant reporting and support the preparation of analysis based on crucial factors for cost reduction such as : a) early booking possibility b) implement bulk tickets on specific days c) Industry know-how
  • Provide all relevant and essential information to the travelers regarding their travel, like tickets, Visa & Passport requirements, government regulations and any other queries.
  • Resolve any problem that arises regarding the trip for the travelers.
  • Support urgent issues and requirements on crisis situations
  • Identify inefficiencies of the applied ticketing processes and propose solutions.
  • Follow ticketing process and comply with policies and procedures
  • Follow and support all ticketing administration processes in the most efficient and cost-effective manner for the business in an alleviating and user-friendly approach
  • Perform any other related tasks, as assigned
  • What you will need to have :

  • Certification in Tourism Management or related field
  • Five (5) years of ticketing operations management experience out of which minimum two (2) years of experience managing a corporate account.
  • Previous experience in managing airline vendor relations and airline contracts
  • Expertise in managing TMC and excellent working knowledge of Amadeus GDS
  • Excellent organizational and management skills and ability to meet assigned deadlines
  • Professional working proficiency (written and oral) of English language
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • What is nice to have :

  • Previous experience in ticketing management for Construction companies across Middle-East is a definite plus
  • Knowledge of French or Arabic will be a strong asset
  • Training Certification in any of the below will be highly appreciatedPassenger Fares &TicketingSkills in Journey Pricing and Ticketing
