About the role

The Business Development Associate is responsible for supporting the management of Dialectica’s client relationships with a focus on expanding the user base while maintaining high client satisfaction and overall profitability.

This Athens-based position will have a focus on enabling Dialectica's expansion in EMEA and / or APAC-based consulting accounts and will work closely and have regular interaction with the Client Service Team.

In close collaboration with Client Service Account Managers, you will drive, as needed, all account management processes, including monthly account performance reviews, user activation and onboarding initiatives, regular account reporting, commercial negotiations, and you will work on the preparation of Client Quarterly Business Reviews.

It will be critical to build strong working relationships with lead contacts within the accounts who may be senior executives, centralized knowledge managers, or procurement administrators.

In this role, you will also have a unique opportunity to generate new business for Dialectica in an untouched territory and with a global reach.

Existing Business

  • Own strategic account management processes alongside the Client Service Team
  • Define a strategy for increasing awareness and building relationships with target professionals to achieve new user activation
  • Support Client Service Team during account reporting and review processes, and commercial negotiations
  • Coordinate account planning and help to build and implement account penetration strategies with the Client Service Team
  • Map out our existing clients and identify upsell opportunities
  • Coordinate and own client Quarterly / Bi-Annual Business Reviews
  • Closely collaborate with the Client Service Team to upsell / cross sell new products and services
  • New Business

  • Drive new client acquisition through selective account targeting and identification of key stakeholders within accounts of interest
  • Engage with target professionals to understand their unique information needs and scope how Dialectica can support them
  • Position Dialectica’s value proposition to ensure project generation and new client sign-ups
  • Take ownership of the complete sales life cycle process (prospect to project generation and client onboarding)
  • Requirements

  • 1-4 years of working experience preferably with exposure in account management, customer success, business development or sales
  • Strong collaboration skills that enables you to work effectively cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders
  • Natural drive and enthusiasm for sales and advanced relationship building skills
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and listening skills
