Essential Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional business stakeholders to develop & propose solutions to optimize the efficiency of business processes
  • Perform requirements gathering & analysis
  • Development of implementation plans & functional / technical requirements documents
  • Effectively manage & lead project efforts, to include project planning, project deliverables management, scope / budget / resource management, time management (activities & task planning), communications, risk management, QA & testing, user training, ongoing maintenance & support
  • Accurately determine, assign, track & manage project task, activity, documentation, time information per internal standards
  • Develop and implement test plans / scenarios to ensure successful delivery of a project
  • Support various business & technology teams as necessary during project execution
  • Accurately assess the risks associated with each solution design / project
  • Perform tests of system capabilities
  • Develop training materials
  • Provide responsive customer support
  • Support the development of team members from a professional & technical level
  • Effectively manage multiple priorities
  • Be able to travel as necessary & perform additional job-related duties as requested
  • Position Requirements

    Experience

  • 3+ years of experience as an Applications Systems Analyst / IT Project Manager
  • Demonstrated ability to function as a Business Analyst / Project Manager on software development projects
  • Skills / Knowledge

  • Strong project management skills / experience with software development projects
  • Strong analytical & planning skills / experience with software development projects
  • Leadership & management skills in leading technical personnel through the delivery of software development projects
  • Strong business & systems analysis skills, test planning & testing skills, troubleshooting skills & experience with numerous environments & architectures
  • Experience in data gathering & facilitation techniques
  • Experience with requirements management, use case & modeling tools
  • Demonstrated leadership & attention to detail skills through prior experience at the strategic & tactical / implementation levels
  • Ability to coach, mentor & train personnel within a technical organization
  • Good time-management skills can stay on track and / or raise issues / risks as needed
  • Demonstrated ability to acquire knowledge of company’s business processes, balanced with good analytical & technical skills
  • Excellent team player skills, with effective oral & written communication skills
