The product Manager of AV / BU Hair Cluster manages the Operational Effectiveness of the brand, ensures customer growth while implementing the Global Marketing Strategy, through the collaboration with the Sales and Educating team and liaising with global.

Accountabilities : Corporate Strategy

Corporate Strategy

  • Along with the Brand Manager and Marketing Manager creates and implements the brand’s strategy and Sales Target, communicates them to Sales and Education teams.
  • Communicates and helps expand the environmental sustainability profile of the brand towards Aveda’s team and ELC Hellas.
  • Product Marketing

  • Provides regional pre-forecast and works with Sales and Education to set final forecast for products and promotional materials.
  • Provides files needed for Demand Planning to upload on SAP.

  • Holds monthly updates with Demand and Inventory Teams to ensure correct inventory of saleable line items based on marketing calendar.
  • Monthly participation in demand review meetings and follow up support.
  • Tracks timely supply (basic & new launches)
  • Ensures minimum out of stocks and excesses
  • Facilitates pricing harmonization with EMEA guideline. Creates necessary files for approval and upload price on SAP.
  • Prepares all analyses for pricing, cost of goods, price increase or line editing projects.
  • Creates, updates monthly and distributes the Pricelist to all involved parties, for Greece and Cyprus.
  • Updating OPSIS list
  • Contacts suppliers and collects offers to decide the best value for money solution
  • Raises purchase orders on timely basis and follows up (confirmations, invoices are delivered on time and correct, ect)
  • Responsible for creating teams Business cards
  • Oversees CAPEX updating every month or ad hoc and ensuring it is within budget
  • Works with other brands on the Loyalty Program Corporate gifts : makes sure there is adequate stock for market needs, provides photos and promo texts
  • Prepares monthly reports : EMEA Marketing Report and assists in EMEA Director’s Report
  • SIOP monthly actions : Reconciliation, BIAS upsells / downsells, Hero Plan, MOC for Top 20 Units Report, etc.
  • Prepares the Discontinuation list twice a year
  • Prepares the Line Up and Price increase report for GM
  • Responsible for New product launch procedure : Work with Inventory, Customer Care and Corporate Sales team to determine final sell in, prepare the 3 mandatory files on time to facilitate the launch.
  • Responsible twice a year for the Garage Sales / Bazaar for both brands : placing the initial order, ensuring enough stock, setting up merchandizing, ensuring sellout meets target, selling, packing stock left.
  • POS & VM

  • Supply deco materials, hairdressing materials etc, for new openings and ad hoc.
  • Translates / Adjusts or creates all promotional, Visual Merchandising materials for online and offline POS. Working with Aveda’s Graphic Designer in England, local designer for Bumble and bumble or local materials, or creating them in PowerPoint.
  • and new door openings with the Deco and Store Design Team.

  • Participates in new corner installations and takes care of needs that might occur (missing or misfits of collaterals, need for more decorative materials, ect).
  • Registers in SAP non saleable AV / BU orders (testers, samples, collaterals) for e-shops or new product launches and all free saleable orders for trainings, decorative or promotional purposes
  • Register Bumble and bumble Salon (Sadhu) and Cyprus’s monthly order in SAP
  • Educates new hires or store teams on Brands Mission and products, creates the material of the Marketing Strategy, activations, new launches presentations
  • Marketing

  • Manages brand advertising and promotional budget. Reviews expenses of promotions / marketing / advertising activities to keep strict control over costs.
  • Assists in the development of fiscal year budgets. Provides clear A&P budget guidance for annual planning to Brand manager, continuously monitor and evaluate ROI throughout the fiscal year.
  • Provides monthly P&L Estimate and monitors overall budget
  • Provides Quarterly GM commentary
  • Translates all product texts for e-retailers in a descriptive and attractive way to ensure conversion, prepare photos in correct dimensions for upload
  • Works with retailers to create and implement a Consumer engagement plan, including consumer events, in store animations, beauty cabins and PR
  • Increase the share of voice with distributors provide them with all assets to ensure brand visibility
  • Participates in calls and provides feedback to Regional teams regarding programs effectiveness, as well as country specific needs in terms of new products, creative assets, promotional tools, events and in general all aspects of marketing mix.
  • Creates SMS / Newsletter campaigns both for consumers and internal announcements
  • Works with advertising agency or directly with media for digital or print advertising, creates content for advertorials
  • Responsible for interviewing, training and managing the Marketing Trainee
  • Digital / Social

  • Works closely with the Digital Manager and with retailer’s online team to ensure good presence both brands more visible on retailer / com and their own social platforms.
  • Leverage the social assets available to them in the most appropriate way and in harmony with the marketing calendars.

  • Oversee brand pages on, creates brand content (banners, promo texts, ect).
  • Works with the Digital Manager to integrate updates on to enhance the overall customer experience and conversion rates.
  • Oversees social customer care coverage, response, and crisis management on social for all channels
  • Responds to questions / comments from Social Media and
  • Provides social media agency digital material, oversees and posting and Works with agency to drive brand awareness and desirability and to ensure Global guidelines are followed.
  • Works with Digital Manager to roll-out the paid media and setup of all post ads ensuring constant optimization for maximum conversion
  • Works with PR agency to organize events, selects venue, catering, invitees that correspond the brands philosophy and will ensure the success of the event.
  • Organizes In-house activations to involve ELC employees in brands philosophy and leverage their social present to create awareness
  • Translates or creates Press Releases and distributes it to PR agency and media
  • Works with or without PR agency to conduct Product seeding to carefully selected audience in order to maximize results
  • Responsible for Popular chips monitoring
  • Monitors Clippings
  • Qualifications

    Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or relevant field is required
  • Excellent use of English language
  • Excellent MS Office user
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience, preferably in the cosmetics
  • Self-motivation; High energy level
  • Must possess strong analytical skills, as well as excellent computer skills, including in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Exhibit a keen ability to handle a multitude of projects at one time and be proactive.
