role description :
As part of the activities of the Customer Solution team, we are looking for an integration and validation engineer. Its main role is to ensure the quality of the X-haul releases inside a network context.
He or she has the responsibility to perform the final validation of the software release in a network with the major customer’s scenario and to integrate the Network Manager of ION (NSP) in front of the new features developed by X-Haul.

This position requires interpersonal skills to interact with fellow testers and designers located in the 3 main X-haul R&D center.
As a tester, the imperatives are : curiosity, the desire to perpetually deepen your knowledge, to learn new things, the ability to synthetically formulate the anomalies encountered.
The working methods are based on the principles of Agile.
English, both written and spoken, must be fluent, the teams are spread over 3 international sites.
Technical knowledge :
X-Haul R&D is located in three main centers; in Athens (Greece), Vimercate (suburb of Milan, Italy) and Nokia Paris-Saclay (Nozay, France).
The Network integration engineer is responsible of the final quality of the area assigned to him.
He / she has to define an exhaustive and optimixed testlist in order to verify the correct functionality of the new Xhaul Sw release in a customer environment and managed by a global managment system as Nokia NSP.
The testlist should be planned accordingly with the official Px milestones and executed on-time. In case of issues, he / she needds to complete the investigation providing all the needed details and Logs to the developers in order to complete the investigation.
Risk and major issues should be clearly highlighted and reported to the Network integration functional manager in order to take the needed corrective actions.
