Our Technology Intelligence and Performance department is continuously growing, supporting clients of all different sizes across many different sectors and is currently seeking to employ an Assistant Cybersecurity Penetration Tester.
The key responsibilities of the Assistant Cybersecurity Penetration Tester will include :
Conducting internal and external penetration testing and vulnerability assessments
Conducting social engineering and phishing attacks
Supporting team engagements for specialized scenarios and organizations
Explaining, presenting, demonstrating and documenting, as needed, the operational impact of any vulnerability
Developing exploits and tools for assessments or attacks
Deploying testing methodologies and collects data
Reporting on findings and makes suggestions for security improvements
Enhancing existing methodology material
The person we’re looking for needs to have :
A Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or other relevant field.
A working knowledge of Windows / Unix systems administration and security vulnerabilities
A deep knowledge of network protocols (IPV6, DNS, HTTP, etc.) and accompanying tools (Wireshark, TCPDump, etc.)
An Understanding of network administration of Routers and Switching technology (CCNA a plus)
An Understanding of and the ability to perform penetration testing
An Understanding of penetration testing tools and techniques (Kali, Backtrack, Metasploit)
An Understanding of how malicious software works (malware, trojans, rootkits, etc)
A Development experience using Python, Ruby, Perl, C, or C++
An Incident response, intrusion analysis and proactive defense will be considered as an asset
An Experience in Forensics will be considered as an asset
An Intrusion Analyst experience will be considered as an asset
A system / Network Engineer experience will be considered as an asset
Operator experience will be considered as an asset
