We are now looking for an Area Customer Solutions Engineering Senior Expert focusing on, Advance People Flow and Digital Solutions.
This is a new role working holistically, with a deep knowledge of KONE Digital solutions and technologies, trends, and research focus areas.
In this role you will develop and promote KONE thought leadership in selected themes both internally and externally. You provide advice and training on all relevant Digital solutions, to support all KONE business lines and the customer to design and integrate solution for customer projects in all phases of building life cycle.
Providing analysis feedback from the operational teams to consider corrective action inputs to solution planning and specifications.
The KONE value-added services (VAS) offerings are an add-on to our core products to enhance the user experience and / or help our customers to manage their business successfully.
As the Area CSE Senior Expert you are also an expert in KONE people flow planning tools, advanced people flow solutions while ensuring the selected technologies are fit for purpose.
You will work closely with the Frontline s Solution Engineering Experts in a matrix organization to ensure best use of and leveraging of the available resources across all the KONE units in South Europe and Mediterranean region.
The position can be located in any of the main offices in Southern Europe and Mediterranean region , knowing that frequent travels will be required.
Main responsibilities and key activities
Supports the KONE Units their Engineering teams, Sales and Operations by analyzing customers’ technical needs and develop proposals outlining how KONE’s products and services can provide clear solutions to meet these needs.
Responds to customer’s technical questions received from the KONE Unites in South Europe and Mediterranean region. You will also participate in early influence / thought leadership promoting meetings.
Collaborate with the sales management in the process of developing, planning, monitoring, and controlling the process of selling digital solutions and value-added services.
This includes training and analyzing the sales force activities like pre-sales, sales, and post-sales. Analyze data from CRM and support the FL sales manager to define and implement a strategy to increase the offering content for digital solutions and value-added services.
Proposes solutions from all KONE business lines; new services, escalators, elevators, doors etc.
Provides people flow analysis according to customer specifications and / or a proposed solution in most complex projects.
Coordinates analysis specifications and delivery times with the Front Line and / or the customer.
Accountable of the correctness of the analysis for people flow solution (to be in line with the KONE design guidelines)
Ensures that the people flow solution fulfils relevant codes and regulations.
Gather, document and share know-how either internally, e.g., in trainings, or in publications such as academic journals or conference proceedings
Prepare or participate in developing training material.
Method and tool development and know-how
Holistic knowledge of products and product technologies related to people flow planning.
Good technical understanding of digital solutions and eco systems that can provide solutions that will meet customer expectations.
Demonstrate to our sales and customers how technology and services can help our customers by improving productivity, profitability and competitiveness.
Knowledge and understanding of mentoring, facilitating and coaching
Good knowledge of IoT, System / Application integrations and APIs
A strong commercial mindsi
Excellent skills in understanding and translating customer needs (requirements) into system integration specifications
M.Sc. or B.Sc. in engineering or other relevant field or equivalent knowledge
Fluent in English, other languages are an asset
