Role purpose :

  • Implement the Cyber Security strategies, policies and plans within Vodafone Greece in order to guarantee integrity, confidentiality and availability of company information (across all Vodafone Greece companies, functions and domains)
  • Deliver, manage and administer security solutions as per Cyber Prevent plans and policies in alignment with Cyber Security strategy
  • Support the monitoring and analysis of security alerts and incidents
  • Ensure compliance with Cyber Prevent standards and guidelines and support relevant activities in the company
  • Key accountabilities and decision ownership :

  • Deliver, manage and administer Cyber Security solutions as per the Cyber Prevent plans and policies
  • Identify and assess Cyber Prevent related security risks and propose effective mitigation plans
  • Coordinate Technology functions for the effective and timely onboarding to Cyber Prevent platforms and end-to-end security implementation in systems and services
  • Liaise with Global Cyber Security for the effective implementation of Cyber Prevent controls
  • Support Technology functions in the implementation of technical countermeasures to mitigate security risks and to ensure network, systems and applications security
  • Document local Cyber Prevent processes in compliance with Group policies and guidelines
  • Support Cyber Defence for the effective security incident and alerts management
  • Perform security checks and inspections in Technology systems in cooperation with involved teams
  • Contribute to the Global Cyber Security activities
  • Develop accurate technical security reports
  • Prepare budget requirements (OpEx and CapEx) for all Cyber Prevent needs
  • Interfaces : CIO, CNO, Technology Functional Heads, Corporate Security, Local Markets Cyber Security teams, Global Cyber Security, all Vodafone Greece Functions

  • Must have technical / professional qualifications :

  • University degree in Engineering and / or Computer Science with major in Telecommunications / IT / Security
  • Excellent knowledge of IT and Cloud IT systems
  • Knowledge / understanding of Privileged Access Management solutions (e.g. CyberArk)
  • Knowledge / understanding of Cyber Prevent solutions (e.g. anti-malware, WAF, IDPS)
