We are now searching for a junior Clinical Support Specialist to join our Structural Heart Business Unit in Abbott Medical entity responsible for the Greek market.

SCOPE OF THE ROLE

The right incumbent will be responsible for proving clinical support in the catheterization lab for Abbott products to the physicians by ensuring best clinical outcomes, effective market penetration, agreed market share growth & establishment of new accounts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide clinical & technical support to implants / follow ups by ensuring all Abbott standing procedures are followed
  • Implement company’s strategy to ensure market penetration, market share growth and the establishment of new accounts
  • Provide customers with continuous Abbott technology update aiming to deliver the highest value added in term of therapeutic solutions
  • Ensure that all questions of a technical nature from the field or internal sources are answered in an expeditious manner & reported to Abbott
  • Act as main interface to implement specific education and clinical initiatives & perform training concerning the use of current or new products
  • Manage products returned from the hospital in accordance with the company’s official procedure
  • Liaise with all departments (Sales, Marketing, Bid & Tender, Regulatory Quality & Clinical Affairs) during bids preparation
  • The ideal candidate should qualify for the following criteria :

  • University Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Nursing or Life Sciences
  • Sales or Technical experience within Medical Device industry is not a prerequisite, but will be considered as an asset
  • Fluency in English, both verbal & written
  • Very good computer skills including MS Office
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Proactive & able to effectively manage customer needs
  • Demonstrated abilities in coordinating projects by being part of a team
  • Self-driven, resilient, with a problem-solving mindset
