Brand Specialist - Greece, Cyprus and Israel (Athens)

Location : Remote / Athens (with occasional office presence required in Athens post pandemic).

Purpose :

The Brand Specialist EMED is responsible for supporting and executing the multi brand strategy and comms across the region.

In this role, you will develop Brand & Communication plans and content for all GTS brands that engage and drive brand and product awareness, purchase intent and loyalty.

In addition, you will work in close partnership with the digital and trade marketing teams to ensure we have one marketing strategy that is aligned with the central and commercial teams for the region.

You will apply your understanding of the region to create brand marketing solutions from strategy to development, launch, measurement and optimization.

You will be accountable for the brand governance in this region and report into the Brand & Communication Manager for Iberia & EMED within the SEMEA region.


  • Originates and manages local brand plans that reflect and build on overall EMEA ANZ strategy / plans as well as local commercial objectives.
  • Localize campaigns / materials from the central EMEA ANZ team (based in the UK).
  • Translate Global Content from English to Greek.
  • Work with regional Trade / Sales teams to deliver plans for the region.
  • Support the delivery of regional operating plan & plan to outperform by implementing relevant brand strategies that maximize our brand, product and promotional assets to create leading end user shopper experiences with our customer base that maximize commercial impact.
  • Leads in-market execution and implementation of all end user and trade facing elements of the country brand plan.
  • Collaborates on local media buying strategy alongside the digital team.
  • Apply Central Brand Strategy to local Channel Strategies and optimize channel mix.
  • Uses available analytics capability to measure and evaluate performance to optimize activities and spend.
  • Maintains close collaboration with central teams (based in Slough, UK).
  • Ensure compliance of the brand standards and maintain consistency of all communication elements across marketing-based activities.
  • Effectively work cross-functionally and lead internal cross-functional teams and external agencies in the development and activation of plans / programs.
  • Evaluate business performance and trends and provide ad-hoc analysis of brands / business segments.
  • Provide plans and strategy for media and public relations activities in support of new product launches and brand campaigns.
  • Work with the central research team (based in US / UK) to gain insight into how our user segments experience our brands and create solutions aligning to those segments.
  • Leverage global and local sponsorship assets.
  • Work with manager on local Brand budgets across the region.
  • Who We’re Looking For

    We are seeking an enthusiastic, out-of-the-box thinker, who will be proactive and keep a pulse on the retail and industrial environment, benchmark other brands, and come up with big ideas of new creative yet cost effective marketing initiatives.

    As the Brand Manager you are constantly aware of the media budgets and the state of the competitive landscape.


  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a B2B or B2C marketing or brand role.
  • Demonstrated history of building strategy and delivering results for campaigns, partnerships, and content.
  • Greek & English Fluency (C1 / C2) Ability to easily work in both languages. Hebrew would be an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, time-management, and project management skills with ability to supervise multiple projects.
  • Superb interpersonal skills and ability to work in a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Strategic planning skills; Self-driven & internally motivated.
  • Extreme attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects at once.
  • Interest in marketing trends, including competitive and retail or B2B environment.
