The role of the Public Tenders Senior Associate aims to cover issues relating to the identification, research, preparation and consultation regarding PeopleCert's participation in Greek Public Tenders.


  • Identify tender opportunities in the Greek Public sector where PeopleCert can bid for
  • Project management of public tenders
  • Provide consultancy regarding public framework agreements
  • Update and monitor procedures
  • Project organization - creating a business plan
  • Research market and competition
  • Prepare the tender proposals
  • Provide insight into the operations, activities and staff requirements by providing advice regarding planning, coordination, administration, and evaluating programs, projects, processes, procedures, systems, standards, and / or service offerings
  • Propose strategies and policies in liaison with relevant departments
  • Manage the respective contracts in association with the Legal department
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related technical field such as Accounting, Finance, Business or similar fields
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in managing public tenders
  • Demonstrated experience in purchasing / procurement activities such as tenders, negotiations and contracts
  • Special Certifications and Licenses such as Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB) or Certified Public Procurement Officer (CPPO) will be considered an advantage
  • Extensive knowledge of the principles and practices of procurement administration in the public sector
  • Demonstrated experience in developing, using and presenting financial information to aid decision making
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, board members, public sector and external agencies
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). ECDL certification will be considered an asset.
