The role of the Public Tenders Senior Associate aims to cover issues relating to the identification, research, preparation and consultation regarding PeopleCert's participation in Greek Public Tenders.
Identify tender opportunities in the Greek Public sector where PeopleCert can bid for
Project management of public tenders
Provide consultancy regarding public framework agreements
Update and monitor procedures
Project organization - creating a business plan
Research market and competition
Prepare the tender proposals
Provide insight into the operations, activities and staff requirements by providing advice regarding planning, coordination, administration, and evaluating programs, projects, processes, procedures, systems, standards, and / or service offerings
Propose strategies and policies in liaison with relevant departments
Manage the respective contracts in association with the Legal department
Bachelor's degree in related technical field such as Accounting, Finance, Business or similar fields
Minimum 5 years’ experience in managing public tenders
Demonstrated experience in purchasing / procurement activities such as tenders, negotiations and contracts
Special Certifications and Licenses such as Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB) or Certified Public Procurement Officer (CPPO) will be considered an advantage
Extensive knowledge of the principles and practices of procurement administration in the public sector
Demonstrated experience in developing, using and presenting financial information to aid decision making
Excellent organisational and project management skills
Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, board members, public sector and external agencies
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). ECDL certification will be considered an asset.
