Our content team is searching for a Social Media Manager with the knowledge and skills to build our organic presence on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok and other popular or emerging channels.
The role involves creating and posting timely content to clear strategies, roadmaps and processes, all the while engaging and nurturing relevant communities.

To build and manage the company’s (organic) social media presence, creating and publishing compelling content, managing the social media roadmap, and helping to develop effective strategies and campaigns designed to showcase our brand and business.
Role and Responsibilities
Implement, develop and review channel-specific social media strategies for the business
Create compelling content for the company’s social media channels, including posts, articles and multimedia content
Contribute creatively to editorial and newsletter content, ensuring alignment with social media where relevant
Manage and update the social media roadmap, publishing content natively or via scheduling software
Monitor, track, analyse and report on the performance of the company’s social media channels to internal stakeholders
Research the latest industry and non-industry trends, including competitor insights, to enhance the company’s social media presence
Support with link building and media relations on occasion, performing outreach to journalists, bloggers, influencers, affiliates, website owners, and other relevant media outlets
Establish lasting, collaborative relationships with relevant influencers across different social media platforms
Nurture and support an engaged community of followers in the digital space
Identify where relevant conversations on personal finance are being driven, and engage with communities where appropriate
Engage with employees, followers and commenters in a positive, playful and professional manner via the company’s social media channels
Support our spokespeople strategy and drive employee advocacy both internally and externally
Help to develop and drive the company’s employer branding
Champion social media across the business
Align with the Paid Social team on relevant campaigns
3+ years’ professional experience managing (ideally B2C) social media platforms
Outstanding interpersonal skills a natural networker with a drive to forge strong, productive and lasting relationships
Ability to multitask and perform creatively under pressure within clear parameters, ensuring compliance with brand, PR and regulatory requirements
Brilliant copywriting and storytelling skills
Values-driven with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
Experience managing engaged online communities
Ability to create compelling content campaigns and successfully pitch stories to journalists and influencers
Understanding of what makes great social media, and the ability to apply that knowledge to meet the specific needs and goals of the business
Passion for social media
Up-to-date working knowledge of social media algorithms
Write in the company’s desired tone of voice
Excellent research and presentation skills
Bachelor’s degree or related qualification / experience
Experience working in the UK’s personal finance industry
Multimedia design skills
