We’re looking for Lead Python Developer who will join one of our remote projects.
The Project :
We are carrying out the project for our client, an American private equity and investment management fund - listed on the Forbes 500 list - based in New York.
We support them in the area of data pipeline, infrastructure and data engineering team. They operate very widely in the world of finance, loans, investments and real estate.
Your responsibilities will include :
Being a part of a completely new web development team that will set new trends in the company based on best practices
Close cooperation with Data Science & Data Engineering departments
Creating complex applications mostly for internal business
Writing clean and well-covered code
Requirements
What’s important for us?
At least 5 years of experience with programming in Python
Expert knowledge of Django and Fast API
Very good knowledge of AWS
Unix-like operating system as the primary work environment
Ability to solve technical problems independently
Pro-active approach
Effective communication with clients and teammates
Being a team player
Self-reliance and get things done’ approach
Very good communication skills in English and Polish
Master's Degree in Computer Science or related
You will score extra points for :
Knowledge of Snowflake, Terraform, IaaC, Airflow, Pandas, Jupyter Notebooks
Experience with leading projects
Dev-ops skills and knowledge of Ansible or Docker
Knowledge of Agile / Scrum
Experience in financial field
Experience in data virtualization
