TITAN Group established the Digital Center of Competence in 2020 to implement major digital transformation projects, through a core team of specialists, including Data Scientists and advanced Analytics Experts, who coordinate digital activities across the Group to enhance the new Digital operating model.
The Manufacturing Digitization Integrator role supports the digital initiatives by bridging the gap between the data scientists and modeling experts with the operational manufacturing expertise and helping in the project management organization.
He / she will also assist in the data analysis, machine learning, modeling effort, and delivery of outcomes on time and within budget.
What you will be doing :
Act as liaison between the Group Data Scientist team and Process Experts, ensuring that the final product of the development is aligned with the operational and business needs.
Support the data scientist team in creating machine learning algorithms and interpreting predictive model results from a process point of view.
Deliver efficiency improvements and operation optimization through advanced analytics and machine learning techniques, identifying, evaluating, and proposing solutions to cement manufacturing operational problems.
Document all the project requirements, objectives, and results in detail, including advanced analytics, algorithms, and manufacturing operation.
Monitor and follow-up digital tools performance through business KPIs / metrics dashboards.
Conduct on-demand plant visits and on-premise visits at Titan’s various operating locations.
Experience & Qualifications :
University degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Production Engineering, Chemistry.
MSc in Process Systems Engineering or any Data Science will be a plus.
Approximately three to five years’ experience in a consulting, manufacturing company, or a company focusing on advanced analytics, process modeling, or simulation.
Critical functional Skills :
General programming skills (R and Python are considered a strong plus).
Familiarity with big-data analysis and modeling.
Good data analysis, data visualization, and statistical analysis skills.
Experienced with machine learning and artificial intelligence algorithms are considered a strong plus.
General understanding of the concept behind different machine learning algorithms to be able to recognize which ones are suitable for each application.
Understanding cement manufacturing or similar industries is a plus.
Knowledge of manufacturing process modeling and simulation, advanced process control techniques, Model Predictive Control (MPC), and Real-Time Optimization (RTO) is considered an advantage.
