Main Accountabilities

Set out HR agenda and priorities to support business needs, in close cooperation with the MD and the HR Director EMEA. Proactively partner with the Managing Director, local leadership / management and staff in all relevant HR issues, and facilitate the achievement of business goals by delivering professional, operational HR support in all areas of the employee life cycle (recruitment, employee relations, performance talent management, compensation benefits, performance management, training, development).

Ensure the implementation of group policies and procedures at local level and provide the best possible support and information to line managers, whilst ensuring compliance with the applicable local legislation

Local Office responsibilities

Payroll & HR Administration

  • Absence management (sick leaves, holidays, study leaves, unemployment days etc.);
  • Ensure all staff are paid in a timely and effective manner in collaboration with our payroll provider;
  • Preparing job descriptions, LOIs, contracts and all other documents relating to the employees’ life cycle, like new hires, resignations, etc.
  • make sure these are executed and filed timely and correctly;
  • Organize and maintain personnel records.
  • Upload data and update the government system ERGANI.
  • Order, assign and follow-up on all extra-legal advantages (meal vouchers, medical insurance, etc.);
  • Support the administrative process of rolling out bonus schemes;
  • Liaise and communicate effectively with the relevant parties such as local authorities, public institutions, social inspection etc.;
  • Create and ost vacancies on the corporate website and LinkedIn (if needed);
  • Resourcing set-up interview appointments for candidates, liaise with candidates, Line Managers, and headhunters / interim agencies (if needed);
  • Set up online assessments via Workday, analyse, provide and explain the results to the hiring manager;
  • Timely processing and filing of expense notes / invoice approvals;
  • Data processing and running ad hoc and recurrent reports on HR data in Workday.

  • Employee Relations

  • First point of contact for employees in all HR admin matters;
  • Ensure the flawless onboarding / induction of new employees & offboarding of leavers;
  • Workday Key User and 1st level support for end users;
  • Training & Development

  • Implement and manage the most appropriate training and development programs;
  • Manage training and reimbursement requests with the relevant external parties;
  • Event Management, Fleet Management & Facility Management

  • Manage the organization of employee gatherings, team & sport events, gifts (birthdays, weddings, births), etc.;
  • Assign pool cars, order new lease cars incl. price requests & negotiations with leasing companies & car dealers;
  • Fleet management as regards fuel cards, damage declarations, change of winter / summer tires, fines, assignment of parking spots etc.);
  • Optimize the annual lease contracts on the basis of cost-ratio calculations on the actual mileage of the company cars;
  • Daily problem solving (office & wellbeing).

    Experience, Skills & Education

  • A Bachelor or Master Degree in HR and / or Economics.
  • Work experience in HR, ideally in an international company possessing a strong customer focus and a performance-based culture will be considered as an asset.
  • Fluency in Greek and English
  • Prior experience with HR information systems ( Workday).
  • Computer-literate (MS Office).
  • Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and direction.
  • Highly organised, able to work well under stress, handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Team-player with excellent people, communication and influencing skills articulate, able to tune in to and successfully deal with different people at all levels and lead by example.
  • Reporting line and organisational level

    Hierarchical to the RMD, functional to the HR Director EMEA
