What You Will Achieve

Your technical skills will help us develop and support robust softwares for our business. Due to your expertise, you will develop program logic for new applications and modify existing ones.

You will support a range of activities, such as coding, testing, debugging, documentation, implementation and maintenance of software applications for Pfizer.

As a Senior Manager, you will be setting the objectives for multiple projects in your division. Your managerial and technical skills will help in guiding the people in your division.

Your understanding of the external marketplace and customer requirements will facilitate in instituting knowledge sharing practices in your team and outside.

You shall be relied on to manage operational activities that support the goals of the division and sets direction for its success.

It is your hard work and focus that will help in making Pfizer ready to achieve new milestones and help patients across the globe.

How You Will Achieve It

  • Set objectives for and manages multiple projects within a division.
  • Work closely with platform engineering and development teams to ensure continuous knowledge transfer and alignment with solution requirements and capabilities.
  • Partner with DevOps lead to establish clear feedback loop processes and metrics between operations responsibilities and develop team expectations, including providing feedback of improvements and changes needed to support efficient operations processes.
  • Own key initiatives forward to achieve technical delivery cost savings targets through effective project estimation and project delivery efficiencies.
  • Ensure alignment across the Pfizer Digital organization and service providers to effectively utilize the organization.
  • Must-Have

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 7+ years’ experience
  • Relevant experience within information technology roles with increasing responsibility designing, delivering, and maintaining large-scale, global systems & platforms
  • Experience with user interface design and in technical implementations from build kits
  • Experience with web technologies and understanding of the applications and platforms, and the business environment in which they are used
  • Demonstrable understanding of object oriented programming
  • Strengths in problem solving and issue-resolution
  • Ability to quickly gain credibility with senior management
  • Strong people management experience
  • Nice-to-Have

  • Master's degree
  • Experience with content management systems
  • Proven relevant progressive experience as an Information Technology leader, preferably in a pharmaceutical industry
  • Business analysis and user experience skills
