Database Migration to Azure
Role Description
We are looking for a Solution Architect for Database Migration who will join Engenious family and provide professional service for our international client - a pioneer in robotics, power and automation technology industry.
The project is related to the migration of large volumes of data to the new system : entire process of data transfer from three systems to the target service.
Responsibilities
Managing databases (in general indexes, performance etc)
Performing data migrations / data importing between databases
Azure database management related to a. and b. as that’s where the database is located
General architecture
Take care of databases and data migration tasks
Help in the overall system design.
Requirements
Experience in managing large databases
Experience with Azure cloud
SQL Server (related more to administrative / performance tasks, not T-SQL development)
General principles of modern architectural design for distributed systems
Good understanding of Oracle would be a significant advantage
NET (Core) would be a significant advantage
Entity Framework (Core) would be a significant advantage
