Your overall objective is to manage the demand and supply chain in order to ensure the products availability while maintaining an optimal stock level.
The role requires close cross functional interaction with customer service, Logistics ,Sales, Finance and Marketing.
Summary of Responsibilities
Update forecast in SNP, (parameter in SAP system), 12 months rolling forecast at least, create promo codes, update cross-references.
Complete Fast SKU and update forecast in APO DP (parameter in SAP system), once code exists in local system
Ensure product availability, no out-of-stocks.
Planning and analyzing the weekly production schedule
Overall management of the incoming goods, supply chain, using business enterprise system
Responsible for external co-packer supply.
Maintain lowest possible inventory level, without risk in Service to customers
Managing SKU’s portfolio ( NPD’s / EPD’s / Promotional items)
Follow-up on new product launches from decision to arrival in DC
Acquiring logistics data from factory
Managing accurately the SAP APO DP / SNP systems input data.
Challenge SNP parameters (MOQ's (minimum Order quantity), coverage, etc.) with factories, in order to achieve lowest inventories possible
Maintain Pack Fill and Order Fill rates at company standards
Ensure data in system are correct and updated
On a daily basis, inform sales through customer service and PAR (product availability report) about product availability of all products, remaining promotions and timing of new launches
Weekly OOS (Out Of Stock) / Distress report
Weekly production challenge reports with factories
Responsible for Supply Losses which include write-offs from the factories
Managing effective relationships with increasing numbers of suppliers / distributors
Knowledge, Experience, Capabilities
3-4 years of experience in Demand Planning (experience within FMCG or pharma sectors would be considered a plus)
Bachelor’s degree in Supply & Demand
Advanced level of English language
Experience in SAP
Strong Analytical Skills
Ability to interface with various corporate functions
Oriented towards the achievement of targets (timing and objectives)
Tenacious and resilient, driven to achieve even when faced with obstacles
Flexible in thinking and pragmatic
