Job Description
Joining a team of multidisciplinary engineers, passionate about Casino Gaming, you will be a lead contributor to the evolution and extension of the game engine technology powering our latest generation of games.
What will you do?
Work as part of a self-organising team to design, develop and run new features and services and see them through from conception to deployment / adoption
Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, testable, high quality, and reliable code
Mentor and guide colleagues to improved code quality and maintainability
Research and introduce technologies, architectural principles, and approaches to solve day to day challenges
Identify and escalate issues or areas that need improvement
Review and refactor existing code with the aim of learning and improving our platform's reliability, robustness, performance, and operability
Maintain living documentation reflecting our evolving technical solutions
Challenge the status quo
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in computer science / software engineering or equivalent professional experience
Demonstratable experience of Object-Oriented Design, Test Driven Development, CI / CD
A minimum of 5 years' professional experience in designing and developing applications using Java
Interacting with Relational (SQL) and non-Relational databases
Spring Framework
Maven / Gradle
Experience of working within iterative agile teams
Excellent teamwork skills and knowledge sharer
Lifelong learning practitioner
Motivated, self-starter capable of multitasking
Detail-oriented analytical thinker and problem solver
Disciplined and highly organized
Fluency in English
