The role

The Corporate Finance Manager will report directly to the CFO and become the main point of reference of all financial information, models, analysis, etc used to inform strategic decisions and support corporate transactions.

He / she should be a proficient communicator of detailed financial results and metrics across different group stakeholders and play a key role in shaping decisions around financial and operational planning.

Key Accountabilities

  • Creates and maintains company's 5 year Operating Plan and reports on progress in relation to targets set
  • Leads ad hoc financial analyses to support the senior and executive management in various decisions and drive corporate transactions with external parties (banks, prospective investors, due diligence partners, etc.)
  • Co-ordinates and supports any costing exercises
  • Plays a key role in evolving the company's financial statements and key accounting standards to reflect accurately its sector and competitive positioning
  • Prepares Financial Reports and associated presentations to the Board and other key stakeholders (e.g. financial institutions, strategic partners, etc.)
  • Contributes to the preparation of Monthly Financial Reports and associated presentations to the executive management
  • Continuously improves and adapts Financial Reports and presentations to track financial performance KPIs that lead to business insights and decisions
  • Ensures implementation of internal policies and processes and promotes accountability of budget owners; communicates, analyzes and challenges financial impacts versus original budgets
  • Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in financial analysis and reporting roles, preferably within the context of transaction support / financial consulting
  • Strong background in accounting and understanding of IFRS principles (ACA / ACCA qualification strongly appreciated)
  • Knowledge / familiarity with SAP will be appreciated
  • Strong personal communication skills with ability to explain complex accounting figures to senior stakeholders clearly and concisely - primarily using English language
  • Outstanding MS PowerPoint and MS Excel skills are required (Data modelling experience is absolutely essential)
