TITAN Cement Group is currently searching for a Project Manager, responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising & reporting on the projects she / he is responsible for the successful utilization of investment resources and the implementation of the projects safely at the optimum time, cost & quality, using state of the art technology.
The role is a member of the Group Innovation & Technology team, under Technical Projects and Projects Management Department and it is located in Athens , Greece.
Main Accountabilities of the role :
Participates in evaluating investment proposals, in cooperation with other departments or Business Units, towards plant modernization and performance improvement of plants’ operational efficiency.
Prepares budget of proposed projects and, upon their approval, provides budget figures in detail and monitors implementation.
In cooperation with Engineering Department, plans proposes, assigns, or manages the design of technical projects related to the Group’s member companies, to complete the particular projects successfully, according to all H&S requirements, within the constraints of time, cost & technical specifications set.
Supervises / monitors the execution of technical and mechanical projects, ensuring implementation of H&S requirements, timely, qualitative, and within budget delivery of work.
In cooperation with the Cement Plant, is responsible for on-site supervision and coordination of suppliers, contractors, consultants, and commissioners during the execution of projects.
Monitors the proper execution of work and related timelines and undertakes on-the-spot supervision of the smooth implementation of work to ensure that problems are proactively addressed.
Effectively manages her / his collaboration with other team members / contributors (internal and external), building effective working relations and a positive working climate.
Participates in the allocation of project team resources to each of the projects under her / his responsibility, ensuring optimization and effectiveness of project management.
Skills, qualifications required :
Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering
Master’s degree is desirable
Member of Technical Chamber of Greece
Approximately 8-10 years total experience, at least 5 of which managing industrial projects
Very good knowledge of PC skills and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Fluency in English (both spoken and written, at a professional corporate level)
Knowledge of Cement Production Technology is desirable
