The School of Liberal Arts & Sciences at Deree-The American College of Greece is seeking a full-time faculty member in Biology (Department of Science and Mathematics).

Required Qualifications :

Ph.D. in Biology with expertise in cell and molecular biology. At least one degree from a US or UK accredited institution.

Teaching experience, preferably at a US or a UK higher education institution.

Excellent communication skills in the English language.

A good publications record.

General Skills :

A commitment to student-centered learning

Very good interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team on research and teaching programs

Ability to develop courses in the respective area of expertise

Ability to organize and set up lab activities in cell & molecular biology and research methods in biomedical sciences

Ability to initiate, develop and deliver high-quality research

Willingness to serve the program and the department in administrative positions
