Senior Embedded Software Engineer (IOT Systems)
As a software generalist in our systems and solutions team, you are an important part of the R&D organization designing, developing and verifying connectivity and positioning solutions to make IoT become a reality.
You will be part of the entire product development life cycle, from inception to production. We are working with a wide range of IoT hardware and software components, such as IP-based services, cloud services, network and product security, radio protocols, sensors and peripherals, open and closed source software frameworks and libraries.
The function supports the systems development by advising and specifying software requirements, defining architectures and tests for customer-oriented embedded applications, and implementing software solutions and proof-of-concepts.
The role therefore requires experience of embedded software application development, and a willingness to learn many other software and system aspects.
If communicating and advising customers on their technical challenges with their system architecture is something you feel at ease with, if you enjoy working cross-functional with Product Marketing and Sales Engineers teams, and if you thrive best in a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural environment, then this role is for you!
