The pandemic has highlighted how important telecoms networks are to society. Nokia’s Network Infrastructure group is at the heart of a revolution to bring more and faster network capacity to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise.

Our team is a part of the Fixed Networks Professional Services organization which supports technologies around FTTX and FWA.

It is comprised of solution architects that provide support for customers around the globe. We develop and deploy professional services that enable our customers to implement Next-Generation Software Defined Access Networks (SDAN).

These services cover the full life cycle of the network from planning through, integration, deployment and upgrade / transformation.

What you will learn and contribute to

Are you passionate about working with new technology and developing solutions to solvie customer problems?

As part of our team, you will :

  • Work in close coordination with customers, account teams, regional engineering teams and Nokia product teams to support pre and post sales activities, including : acting as a subject matter expert to define, develop and position our SDAN service offers to customers, developing Scopes of Work (SoW's) and cost estimations, developing Requirements Documents and High Level Designs for customer projects and supporting the delivery team through the Detailed Design, Integration and Verification & Validation phases,
  • Identify the key challenges and pain points for customer deployments of Nokia's SDAN technology and work with teams across Network Infrastructure to determine potential services solutions,
  • Utilize knowledge of SDAN implementation challenges to support development of tools and capabilities to improve the overall Nokia Value Proposition,
  • Team up with pre-sales, product teams and account teams to discover, qualify and drive new business,
  • Work with FN-PS Product Line Managers to evolve / improve service content and positioning.
  • Your skills and experience

    You have :

  • Knowledge of fixed network technologies, including : PON, G.Fast, DSL and FWA
  • Experience in Software Defined Networking (SDN) and cloud network design with a particular focus on various kubernetes distributions and private and public cloud deployments
  • Experience in positioning and delivering professional services in support of customer opportunities and projects
  • It would be nice if you also had :

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field
  • Services sales experience
  • Customer project delivery experience
