MarineTraffic, the global ship tracking intelligence service, with six million unique monthly users and over 20,000 new user registrations per month, is looking for an enthusiastic agent to join our Customer Success Team and actively interact with a vibrant maritime community.
As a Customer Support Agent your mission will be to provide high quality service before, during and after customers' requirements are met.
Success in this position requires exceptional customer service skills, self-motivation and desire to apply problem-solving skills for helping others achieve results.
Here is what you would expect to focus on :
Respond to customer-submitted requests, via our ticketing and live chat system
Troubleshoot and guide customers through product
Provide information to assist customers with their purchasing decisions
Identify upsell opportunities
Deal with customer complaints
Gather and forward customers’ feedback to the respective internal Teams
Fluency in English is a must additional languages are advantageous
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
At least 1 year of prior experience in similar position
Ability to understand the needs of the average user in an online world
Effective communication with non-technical people to resolve technical issues
Above-average computer and internet skills
Motivated problem solving and trouble-shooting skills
Friendly, energetic attitude
Familiarity with the shipping industry will be a bonus
