Optimal HR Group on behalf of its client, a leading Information Security company with international presence, is looking to recruit a Human Resources Manager, based in Athens.

The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for designing and implementing the HR Strategy, Policies, Processes and Systems to ensure business productivity and improve employee commitment and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and ensures the effective implementation of HR strategies, policies, and procedures for selection, training and development, compensation and benefits, and employee relations for the Greek and international operations.
  • Enables and facilitates the implementation of company values and culture commensurate to company strategy and implements HR and management activities, transformation initiatives as well as internal communication.
  • Ensures compliance of the company’s practices with applicable labor legislation and collective labor agreements.
  • Plans and monitors training needs and the development of the annual training plan and budget, and monitors the implementation of training and development programs.
  • Develops an efficient performance management system.
  • Develops, submits, and implements the Department’s budget, identifies cost saving opportunities and proposes corrective actions, in order to ensure compliance with set targets.
  • Coordinates, coaches, and motivates subordinates, through the appropriate training, development, and performance management.
  • Operates as part of the senior management team of the company.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business or related field is required. Master’s degree preferred.
  • At least 5 years of work experience at a senior management level position.
  • Strong business acumen and breadth of knowledge on HR practices, procedures and HR laws and regulations.
  • Exceptional leadership skills and proven success in project management and leading change initiatives.
  • Professionalism, confidentiality, and ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.
