About the role
For our European team, we 're looking for a Telecom Sourcing Expert in order to support the key company deals for our customers located in Europe.
This role is key in achieving profitable growth as Telecom Sourcing Expert is the Sourcing representative within customer projects.
As such, in contact with the Customer Project buyer, Network BU expert and the Sales team, and is part of the pre-sales or post-
sales team to identify and address sourcing related to Telecom commodities
Purpose and main activities : To support the Customer Project Buyer and Sales by providing expertise on telecom aspects in both pre-
and post sales. The Telecom Sourcing Expert project manages the access action plan, relying on appropriate resources within Sourcing to provide accurate responses for the Account Team & Business Units
Participate in the qualification of the Network Service Block as and when required by the Customer Projects Buyer and the customer project
Work with the Solution Team to help define the Smart Design and agree the Sourcing Action Plan
Project Manage the Sourcing Action Plan, relying on appropriate resources within sourcing (telco sourcing experts from other regions, local telco buyers) to provide accurate responses for account team & Business Unit
Ensure complete, accurate and timely responses to the Customer Project Buyer & the Project Team by :
Reviewing and challenging quotation results and proposing the most optimum solution.
Preparing Sourcing recommendations for forward (future) costing
Providing regular updates to the account team
Preparing a spend summary for internal Business Case approvals
Ensure that the post-sales phase is compliant with the pre-sales phase to guarantee the profitability of the awarded projects.
Participate in the Telecom Sourcing Expert community aimed at building a shared and updated knowledge database on telecom aspects of customer deals.
Contributes to process improvement.
Education, Qualifications : University degree or equivalent experience; Fluent in both spoken and written English (Nice to have : French)
Experience : :
Minimum of 3 years work experience within the international telecom or IT industry
Understanding of IT environments & Knowledge of Access Technologies
Competencies in Project management and able to work under pressure
Experience in data processing & Proficiency in using MS Office (Word, PowerPoint..) & strong Excel is required
Capacity to work in a multi-cultural and international environment with Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to operate with a minimum of supervision & time management, being Flexible, self-motivated, & result oriented
Base salary from 1,380 € brutto per month (upon agreement) + variable part and other benefits. Actual salary is likely to be higher based on skills, knowledge and experience.
