Role purpose :

A system engineer studies an organization's existing computer systems and designs solutions to improve them, which helps the organization function more efficiently.

Engineer will be responsible for the HW and Network readiness of new services and infrastructure architecture landscape of the IT organization.

Following Vodafone latest security guidelines and policies he / she will be responsible for Technical Projects’ supervision related to Applications upgrades, Servers, Databases, Operating Systems, Hypervisors , Active Directories and Private / Public Cloud.

Part of the role is compliance in the change management process of IT assets portfolio.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership :

Delivery of Infrastructure projects

Design of Systems architecture service class

Cooperation and work close with Security, and Network to comprehend the most updated guidelines and ensure secure and stable solutions

Liaise with external partners and Vodafone Group functions

Automated infrastructure deployment and configuration management

Core competencies, knowledge and experience :

Must have technical / professional qualifications :

Basic IP / LAN Network principles knowledge

Project management skills and good understanding of Project lifecycle

Excellent written and verbal communications skills, especially with technical audience

Sharp and solution orientated thinking

Multi-tasking ability

Analytical, technical, and problem solving skills, with high-levels of creativity

Good time capacity management skills

Jira & MS Office suite
