ABOUT THE POSITION :
As a Backend Programmer, you will design, create and test the backend services that support our game. You will work with designers and other programmers to analyze specific requirements for the services and propose the best approach.
It’s a very exciting moment to join since we are transitioning our backend to a micro-service approach. You could have a significant impact on how things run.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Analyze, design, and create online services in Go using k8s
Maintain and improve existing backend code and infrastructure
Support and improve backend monitoring services
Create services’ API documentation
Prepare technical design documents to transfer knowledge
Support multi-region and multi-environment deployments
Support live service updates
REQUIREMENTS :
At least 3 years of experience working on backend services in k8s
Very good knowledge of Go, Redis, MySQL, and related technologies
Good knowledge of backend related topics (security, scaling, microservices, databases)
Familiarity with service deployment automation
Good communication and team skills
NICE TO HAVE :
Familiarity with AWS
Professional experience in backend development for a shipped game
Familiarity with NoSQL databases
Practical knowledge of C++, Python, scripting
Practical knowledge of game backends (example : EOS, Steam, PSN, Gamesparks)
Experience with UE4
