We’re looking for a Delivery Manager who will help us on our mission of becoming the best Python shop in the world. You will be responsible for leading our tech teams, supervising projects, continuously improving processes and raising quality standards.
You should be an expert in Python, know in and outs of the software development, love sharing knowledge and helping others grow.
Drive, passion and great communication will be key in this demanding but extremely rewarding role.
Your responsibilities will include :
Sharing technical expertise and know how in and out of company
Translating business needs into technical requirements
Designing software architecture
Supervising project delivery by taking part in Scrum routines, quality assurance processes (e.g. code reviews) and working closely with CTO, Project Leads and Project Managers
Tackling most challenging technical problems and finding solutions
Developing best programming practices
Growing tech teams and individuals by providing support, advice and mentorship
Helping us hire and cultivate most talented engineers by conducting interviews and feedback sessions
Helping us win great projects by contributing to estimates and proposals
What's important for us?
At least 5+ year experience with programming in Python
Very good knowledge of Django and some other Python web frameworks,
Experience with JavaScript, ES 6+ or TypeScript
Good expertise in relational databases, especially PostgreSQL
Passion about clean code and ability to inspire colleagues in code review process
Knowledge of REST APIs good practices and HTTP auth protocols
Experience with Git version control systems
Good skill in managing Linux operating systems
Experience with server provisioning and deployment automation with Docker, Ansible or similar tools
Ability to lead projects and take full responsibility
Ability and willingness to mentor other teammates
Ability to solve technical problems independently
Excellent communication with clients and teammates
Self-reliance and get things done’ approach
Fluent English
You will score extra points for :
Knowledge of Redis, Memcached, Elasticsearch
Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks e.g. React, Vue or Angular
Experience with NoSQL movement and solutions
Contributions to open source software projects
Active participation in the community
