The American College of Greece is seeking a candidate to cover the Assistant Dean of North American Enrollment and Study Abroad position.
The position is US based. The job holder will report to the Associate Dean.
Main Responsibilities :
Develop strategies related to North American enrollment
Establish and manage relationships with high school counselors, study abroad advisors, providers, alumni, and other key stakeholders and assist in developing awareness at community colleges
Represent ACG by attending study abroad fairs, conferences, and university fairs to increase ACG’s visibility and keep abreast of industry standards, changes, and best practices
Handle the ACG recruitment website
Assist with the coordination of programs and services for student mobility and ensure an exceptional experience for students, parents, and partners
Assist with the management and organization of recruitment activities for North American undergraduate enrollment and study abroad
Provide advising to students, parents, and partners on all aspects of studying at ACG
Oversee appropriate follow-up work arising from recruitment events, to ensure a smooth enrollment process for students
Assist in the daily administration of enrollment, including processing applications and facilitating the enrollment process for North American students
Assist in developing and delivering pre-departure orientations, orientations, and related programming to ensure that North American students have a successful experience abroad at ACG
Engage in strategic planning and risk assessment / management to ensure successful departmental outcomes and implement best practices in area of responsibility to maintain ACG good standing
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in related area
A minimum of 5 years administrative experience in higher education; preferably in an enrollment role
Experience as a participant, organizer, or administrator in study abroad programs
Knowledge in marketing at strategic, tactical, and operational levels, including the use of market research, insight and analysis to identify and evaluate marketing opportunities and to inform recruitment plans
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with diverse populations including students, staff, faculty, and the general public
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
