Odyssey is looking for a Project Management Officer to join our Project Management Team in our Athens Office. The successful candidate will participate in the coordination of the projects, track the progress of projects and report his / her results.
The position reports to the Project Manager in Cyprus and requires a confident professional with an ability to work in a dynamic environment as part of a team of highly focused professionals.
The ideal Project Management officer will have excellent organizational skills, strong teamwork, intrapersonal and communication skills in both Greek and English language, superior problem-
solving skills and the ability to perform and deliver under pressure.
Collaborate with various teams to develop project plans and present them to upper-level management before starting the project.
Manage multiple projects throughout the project life-cycle (planning, executing and closing).
Support projects at all stages and serve as the point of contact for project-related information.
Proactively track all project milestones by interacting with team members on a regular basis; liaise between all departments to plan and ensure success of all projects.
Work closely with sales, logistic and engineers’ teams to ensure project deliverables are created according to project specifications and delivered as per project order.
Prioritizing projects based on needs of company.
Update project documentation and manage CRM data processing.
Communicate progress of daily project tasks; seek feedback from department heads and relay information back to Management.
Direct daily issues / risks; prioritize by urgency and communicate progress; escalate as necessary to avoid project delays.
Ensure questions and requests to all teams involved in project are answered in a timely fashion.
Gather and document all project results and then report or present them to the appropriate parties.
Establish and maintain relationships with clients to ensure quality service and satisfaction.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Minimum 2+ years’ experience in project planning or project management.
Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2 etc., will be considered an advantage.
Knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling projects.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, Outlook, Project).
Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Strong judgment and management skills.
Detail-oriented and organized.
Exceptional written and verbal communications skills (Greek / English language).
