Job description
The key responsibilities of the economic analyst will include :
Supporting the full acquisition process of new projects
Contributing to consultancy research and data analysis
Supporting the project team to help our clients implement policies and strategies
Building sophisticated financial models and draft reports and presentations in the course of our on-going projects
Interacting on a frequent basis with customers
Delivering excellent client service
Anticipating change and encourage others to perform confidently in ambiguity
Working in teams of qualified and highly motivated professionals
Maintain highest standards of business ethics
The one we’re looking for needs to have :
University Degree in Economics / Business Administration
Master’s Degree (M.Sc. or MBA) in Statistics / Mathematics / Econometrics / Economics
Phd in Econometrics, Finance or economics will be consider as a strong asset
Relevant working experience (3 - 5 years) in Financial and Econometric Analysis
Very good knowledge of STATA
Excellent command of the Greek & English language and computer literacy
Excellent written, verbal & presentation skills
Military obligations fulfilled for male candidates
To be successful as an economic analyst in Grant Thornton Greece you need the following :
Effective communication and rapport building skills
Excellent report writing skills both in Greek and English language
Excellent analysis and data reporting skills
Advanced computer skills in MS Office ,databases and data analytics tools
Ability to work effectively on his / her own and as part of a team
Familiarity with project management principles and approach
A good coaching and mentoring skills for younger team members
Ability to develop and deliver high quality services and solutions
A customer-centric approach to finance and business operations
An extremely high work ethic and critical thinking
Motivation for career progression and development
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
