What we're looking for :

We are looking for a Manager of Technical Program Management to join our team, which is a part of the Engineering Operations Organization.

In this role you will support a wide variety of teams who develop Cloud hosting and governance infrastructure, Build systems, and are responsible for the overall Engineering experience across Citrix.

These teams operate in the SAFe framework with SCRUM Masters and RTEs who will report to you. This role has high visibility due to the company’s focus on building high performing teams and enabling engineers to execute on the company’s strategy.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead SCRUM Masters and RTEs across parts of Citrix product portfolio to help programs and teams execute on their business objectives
  • Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to identify and lead improvements, align on staffing needs, and help ensure smooth operation on programs your team supports
  • Apply Lean-Agile principles to improve flow, and insure incremental delivery throughout the lifecycle
  • Develop SCRUM Masters, RTEs, and traditional Technical Program Managers into leaders who drive change in their groups
  • Hold team members accountable to high standards and foster the TPM values to be exemplified in everything your team does
  • Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration, and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities
  • Leverage tools and systems to aid in data-drive decision-making
  • Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, MIS or related technical field
  • Track record of initiating and driving change initiatives, especially ones related to implementation of Lean-Agile principles and mastery among the TPM team members
  • 2+ years of experience managing Technical Program Managers
  • Experience as an individual contributor in SCRUM Master or RTE roles
  • Experience leading, coaching, and mentoring SCRUM Masters and RTEs
  • Experience applying Lean and Agile principles and practices for improvement of execution
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability and confidence to present to large audiences.
  • Experience working with geographically distributed teams
  • Experience leading Cloud-based / SaaS projects
  • Understanding of DevOps principles and exposure to CI / CD pipeline technologies
  • Exposure to containerization technologies like Kubernetes and Docker is a plus
  • Experience with SAFe framework is a big plus
