The candidate will work in a Greek pharmaceutical company of sterile and non-sterile products focused on exports worldwide.

The Technical Support and Maintenance Manager is reporting to the Head of Quality and the Plant Manager for all activities relating to the coordination and performing of all relative activities as described in detail below.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Continuously refine long term maintenance and reliability strategies and improvement plans
  • Identify technology enhancements that could provide reliability improvement and cost reduction
  • Support routine and non-routine maintenance of laboratory and manufacturing equipment through internal or contracted resources
  • Monitoring of daily program and coordination of Technical Support and Maintenance personnel
  • Maintain regulatory compliance thru self-audits, validation, change management, risk assessments, and deviation support
  • Support internal and external audits and assessments as related to quality impacting systems and the facility as a whole
  • Support regulatory inspections evaluating the GxP PM / Maintenance program
  • Coordinate activities with Facilities, Quality, Production and Validation teams
  • Identify gaps and recommend corrective actions
  • Provide comprehensive maintenance strategies, providing practical and cost-effective solutions
  • Minimum Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other technical field of study
  • 5 years of experience working on facility and equipment programs in a GMP environment
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience
  • Fluency in English both written and oral
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience with interfacing with Facilities, Quality, Validation and Information Technology groups to develop requirements, establish programs and manage day-to-day operation
  • Understanding of utility systems, process equipment, and analytical equipment
  • Experience establishing overarching, comprehensive and compliant life-cycle maintenance programs
  • Experience with establishing function-appropriate maintenance and programs for laboratories (development and Quality Control)
  • Experience with process and equipment troubleshooting, investigation and resolution of deviations, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions
  • Experience interacting with auditors of internal, external and regulatory audits for pharmaceutical companies
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
