This position provides day-to-day Sales delivery to Agfa customers and the Agfa organization.

The Key Account Manager acts as single point of contact to customers for Agfa products & services and is responsible for identifying Imaging and DR opportunities, executing an account strategy , coordinating and controlling the sales process, managing customer expectations and negotiating contracts.

Cultivating relationships (making, creating and establishing) is essential.

Accounts are a combination of products & solutions / services of technical complexity.

The accounts entails also competitive and innovating / new products.

Managing his area implies, the constant usage of the sales tools ( CRM -SalesOne weekly and Quotation -Tool Sofon)

Area of work will depend on business needs being adapted to the strategy define in the country

KAM should provide all needed information about market and competition to help shape the strategy.

KAM has to have an updated funnel at any time.

KAM has to offer a clear forecast of the OI of the planned activities / deals of his area that will help achieve the budget assigned

Representative Activities

  • Execute a strategic account plan
  • Constant update of his customer base in Sales one
  • Act as single point of contact to assigned customer base for Agfa products & services
  • Accompany prospective customers from first contact to closing of contract
  • Qualification of accounts
  • Perform Equipment and solutions Demos
  • Define preliminary quotes in Sofon
  • Manage customer relationship
  • Manage customer expectations during proposal & negotiation phase
  • Negotiate with customers (new sales, service contracts)
  • Explain and demonstrate the sold products / solutions and think strategically with the customer (requires in depth knowledge of product line and its applications)
  • Coordinate and control sales processes
  • Being Sales contact in hand-over from sales to Services
  • EDUCATION

    Degree or Diploma : Technical Engineer / Engineer / Business Administration / Biomedical

    Languages : English & Local language

    Technical skills : Imaging solutions

    DR portfolio

    SMA and Services portfolio

    EXPERIENCE

    5 + years of experience on Imaging Business / Healthcare / Hospital flows and environment will be a plus. Sales experience on value added selling on product and solutions.

    Tender business experience needed

    SPECIFIC SKILLS

    Soft skills : Fluent communicator , Teamwork player , problem solving approach , interpersonal abilities, business orientation, energy to make the change, positive mind-set , readiness, willing to travel on regular base and being open for flexible work environment.

    Hard skills : Excel. Word, Power point.
