Working as part of an extraordinary group of engineers in FTTH, we're looking for a highly motivated Engineers. Our future growth and focus areas are in modern cloud solutions, virtualization technologies and containers.

You have a unique opportunity to be part of the teams of experts developing the telecommunication systems deployed worldwide.

In everyday work you will plan, design, review, execute, and maintain tests in own area. You will ensure that software meets quality criteria via manual or automated execution of test cases, reporting discovered faults, and supporting faults correction deliveries.

In your role, you will work in close co-operation with local project people, as well as remote stakeholders from different countries.

You will interact with telecommunication systems in both SW and / or HW areas.

Main Responsibilities :

Design and develop features for the product

Analyze feature specifications and requirements, design and implement SW changes, prepare unit tests and give input for verification.

Execute design and implementation with security mind set

Solve complex engineering problems in own technology area

Coach other team members in engineering problems

May undertake technical training responsibilities

Requirements :

Master or Bachelor degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Software Technology or equivalent education

Very good knowledge on Object Oriented Programming and languages (C / C++ and / or Java and / or Go)

  • knowledge of Unit / Module testing concepts and practices
  • knowledge of the NetConf protocol and Yang models concept

    Familiar with Mercurial SCM and or GiT (gerrit / gitlab)

    Efficiently navigating in Linux systems, including creation of shell scripts

    Fluency in both written and spoken English

    Knowledge or experience in any of the items below, will be considered as an asset :

    Working experience (1-3 years) in SW Development for Mobile / Fixed Access / Core networks, IP Protocols and Interfaces

    Good and practical knowledge of broadband telecommunication technologies (XDSL, GPON (OLT + ONU / MDU), NGPON2)

    Experience developing μServices under Docker / Kubernetes / Containers

    Understanding of Telco domain concepts such as NFV / SDN and L2 / L3 technologies
