  • Collaborate with the Greece GDO Country Head in setting and driving organizational vision, operational strategy, and hiring needs
  • Translate strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth helping to implement organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operating planning
  • Ensure that our Software Development Unit is provided with all the necessary operations framework
  • Promote EPAM brand on the local market and within Greece IT communities
  • Participates in new business development : identify and develop new opportunities from existing clients to achieve our objective of developing full service partnership
  • Maintain and build trusted relationships with key customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders
  • Monitor performance with tracking and establish corrective measures as needed, and prepare detailed reports, both current and forecasting
  • Oversee the development and implementation of annual and monthly country budgets
  • Participate in management meetings (both external and internal)
  • Develop key team members to improve team performance and enhance team effectiveness
  • Provide clear guidance, instruction and advice to the local teams to driving performance and enable them to achieve their objectives and KPIs
  • Continuously prioritize the team’s focus, with emphasis on high-growth prospects, specific target accounts, and categories for development
  • Develop effective teamwork and hold regular team meetings to share knowledge, resolve mutual problems, exchanging information, coordination and learning
  • Will be able to make timely and transparent decisions, solve problems and manage conflict
  • Deal effectively with poor performance and work with the underperforming employee to identify measures that could be used to improve performance
  • Contribute to and manage engagement and process improvements in order to achieve operational excellence
  • Set the standards of expected behavior and the ethics that apply to all employees across the organization
  • Maintain a commitment to the company vision, values and the spirit of the organization
  • Ensure that adequate internal control mechanisms are in place
  • Willingness and ability to travel nationally and internationally
  • Requirements

  • Education to degree level or equivalent, preferably with some financial qualifications or training a solid understanding of budgeting and financial planning is essential as this role involves agreeing annual budgets as well as producing financial reports
  • Senior Account / Management / Business experience will be beneficial and proven leadership experience of leading and managing senior executives
  • 5+ years of consultancy experience in the technology field
  • Understanding of broad range of technologies
  • Being a strong communicator with excellent Greek and English language skills both written and verbal
  • Strong leadership with contacts on C levels and influential skills is a must
  • Strong and proven client and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong People and Financial Management skills
  • Experience in the following areas : brand management, change management, P&L, budgets, sales management, multi-national and multi-cultural diverse organizations
  • Ability to establish solid working relationships with clients and employees, plus the ability to work effectively as a virtual member of a dynamic, dispersed team and to meet deadlines
  • Ability to manage, develop and motivate effective teams internally and externally
  • Ability to recruit staff and monitor performance
  • Excellent presentation, organizational, networking and planning skills are necessary
  • Being driven and ambitious, energized by the concept of driving the business to the next level
  • Being self-motivated, multitasking, reliable to deliver on time, a quick-thinker
