So what’s the challenge
The Retail Customer Analytics Specialist will be responsible for managing analytics on OPAP’s customer base. The role will support the business units by identifying and providing actionable insights on customer value, needs and preferences that drive strategic business decisions.
Your day to day will include :
Translating business questions / problems into analytical models that lead to commercial actions and / or business decisions
Creating tactical and complex data solutions for key stakeholders, ensuring that their business needs are understood and met
Supporting the definition and implementation of the data-mining and analytics process to create a detailed understanding of the customer behavior, trigger, habits and preferences
Analyzing available information and defining the DataMart infrastructure needed for the development of reports, advanced analytics and campaigns execution
Providing ad-hoc analyses and developing advanced statistical models such as segmentation and propensity models for the execution of targeted campaigns
Developing standardized robust data quality checks & benchmarking key metrics for data validation (1 version of the truth)
Working closely and effectively with senior managers across product, retail, finance and operations in order to prioritize analytics requirements
Developing and maintaining reporting and analytics tools
What you need to succeed :
BSc in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or other relevant field. MSc in Data Science is preferable
5+ years’ of working experience in a CRM team within a fast paced environment. Experience in gaming industry will be considered as an asset
5+ years of proven experience and in depth knowledge of SQL, SAS, R, Python or SPSS Modeler in Machine Learning concepts
Robust knowledge of Data visualization tools (Tableau or Power BI)
Proven track record in analyzing big customer data and providing actionable insights
A strategic and creative thinker with a highly numerical and logical approach to decision making and problem solving
Results driven and self-motivated with passion, energy and a positive attitude
Customer service excellence with accuracy, attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines
A genuine team player able to effectively collaborate with a diverse group of people
Excellent communication & presentation skills both in English and Greek languages (written and oral)
Proficient use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Fulfilled military obligations (for male candidates)
