Our team consists of dedicated legal advisors providing services in areas such as Corporate Law, M&A Transactions, Real Estate, Banking, Regulatory, Labor and Social Security Law, Insolvency and Business Restructuring and Data Protection.
Our broad clientele includes major listed companies, local subsidiaries of multinationals, financial, servicing and investment institutions, and family-owned businesses.
Due to the continued growth of our practice and consistently high demand for our services in transactional banking & finance work (including structured finance projects in an array of asset classes, primary and secondary portfolio sales, project and general corporate lending, and other debt financing instruments) , we are now recruiting an Experienced Lawyer for our recently revamped and rapidly growing Banking & Finance practice in Athens.

The role :
Be part of PwC’s Legal team, sharing our vision to develop an agile, technically skilled and strongly motivated banking & finance team, committed in delivering top quality legal services using technology and innovative thinking;
Work closely with the members of the team to manage, support and execute fast paced transactional legal work, including structuring, drafting and negotiating transaction documentation, conducting research and advising on specialised banking & financial law issues;
Perform legal due diligence and provide timely and accurate legal advice to clients with strong business acumen and a diligent and methodic way of working;
Interface with the other legal practices in the broader Legal team, particularly our Insolvency & Corporate Recovery practice with respect to distressed debt projects and our M&A practice on their Financial Services industry projects;
Cooperate with PwC’s other capabilities such as the FS Tax and Financial Advisory teams with a business oriented and results driven approach fostering an integrated, cross-line-of-service approach in your legal work;
Manage client engagements including preparing concise and accurate proposals, documents and reports;
Interacting effectively with clients, in order to understand their needs and respond to queries in a timely manner;
Develop business relationships with PwC teams and clients;
Collaborate in team-oriented environment, develop innovative approaches to solving challenges;
What we are looking for
Bachelor degree in Law (from a domestic university or equivalent certification from the pertinent Greek organisations);
Master’s degree (LL M or similar title) from an international institution will be considered a strong asset;
Admission to Athens Bar or other Lawyers’ Bar in Greece;
At least 4 years of post-admission previous relevant working experience at a Law firm / office;
Positivity, motivation and strong interpersonal skills;
Willingness to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in multiple assignments;
Excellent legal and business analytical skills;
Ability to express ideas verbally and in writing, in a clear, concise and professional manner, (both in English and Greek);
Military services fulfilled.
