Working with cross-functional and regional teams, you implement a portfolio strategy that is aligned with the brand vision to drive sustainable growth.

You support profit and loss management and future business development plans and objectives including new product development and platform opportunities.

How you will contribute

Working with other internal stakeholders, you will support the brand portfolio strategy and priorities to enable consumer-centric brand portfolio growth.

You will develop annual plans, setting objectives and allocating resources. In addition, you will offer recommendations for integrated commercial plans, develop and execute marketing plans that deliver on revenue and profit forecasts, and share objectives.

Based on your deep consumer insights and brand positioning, you will develop and implement integrated marketing communications and 360 degree campaigns.

    We are looking for a Brand Manager Gum & Candy for Greece and Cyprus to join our passionate, fearless & agile Refreshment team!

    Mondelēz has a strong leading position in the Greek Refreshment market with a market share of 52% via a combination of beloved global and local brands in growing momentum in the post-Covid recovery context.

    Trident is the number one Gum brand in Greece with presence across MEU and together with Dentyne local jewel they are the preferred choice for more than 50% of Greek consumers.

    Additionally Halls , is the synonymous of Candy market in Greece with its market share exceeding 54%, while at the same time it represents one of the few global Mondelēz brands.

    Having said that, Refreshment category is a balanced combination of centrally-led strategy roll-out and local initiatives development when it comes to local Dentyne brand or even spot-on local insights building local relevance for Trident or Halls.

    This aspect, in conjunction with the very close collaboration anticipated with broader Commercial team (Sales, Category Planning) in order to come up with robust 360 plans executed with excellence, is offering a unique growth experience to a Marketer.

    What you need to know about this position :

    As a Brand Manager Gum & Candy for Greece and Cyprus, you will need to stimulate growth at country level by translating market, consumer and shopper information into brand strategies & successful executions.

    Also, you will need to act as the key liaison between the central team, the local stakeholders & other cross-functional teams to ensure timely & effective delivery of Refreshment agenda.

    Your primary responsibilities in this role will include :

  • Build & execute solid brand plans for Gum and Candy, leveraging all elements of the marketing mix
  • Translate and adapt locally, centrally-led initiatives
  • Develop and execute with excellence local campaigns and relevant activations amplifying central equity approach
  • Inspire trust, passion & winning attitude around refreshment agenda across the organization
  • Closely co-operate and engage internal stakeholders (Sales, Finance, PCM, Category Planning etc.) as well as external partners (Creative & Media Agencies)
  • Display actionable analytical and synthesis capabilities (Nielsen trends, internal sell-in, consumer & shopper trends)
  • Lead monthly volume forecasts to fuel production planning
  • Monitor the day-to-day financials within the agreed P&L budget
  • People management skills via Assistant Brand Manager direct report
  • What extra ingredients you will bring :

  • Minimum 8 years brand management experience
  • University degree and MBA or comparable
  • Key competencies : drive for results, autonomy, problem solving capabilities, ability to keep it simple, team player attitude, motivating others, deal with ambiguity & strategic thinking
  • Management experience coupled with the will to inspire & develop your collaborators
  • Proven project management & presentation skills, fluency in English & computer literacy
  • The responsibilities of this position are performed within the framework of a regional business model that is defined and managed by Mondelēz Europe GmbH, Switzerland .
