Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens is looking for a Purchasing Supervisor.
The Purchasing Supervisor supervises / works together with Storeroom Clerks to ensure that all incoming merchandise is dated, priced and rotated in all circumstances.
Maintains proper labeling of all storeroom items to facilitate re-ordering and rotation of stocks. Works together with Storeroom Clerks to ensure that all requisitions are filled on a timely basis in accordance with storeroom hours and outlet requests.
Extends all requisitions on a daily basis and update computerized inventory system. Works closely with receiving to ensure a smooth exchange from Receiving to storage.
Monitors and takes inventory on regular basis, daily for produce, dairy and bread, or on specific days for meat, to compile orders based on par levels or needs.
Ensures all local and corporate policies, rules, internal controls and procedures and safeguards as they relate to the Purchasing department are complied with.
