We are looking for a talented DevOps Engineer to support the company’s infrastructure and deliver advancements in performance, safety and monitoring that result in significantly better customer experience.
Working as a conduit between delivery teams and hosting provider you will be responsible for servers infrastructure serving as supporting arm for backend team.
You will work closely with other teams within Azimo and external vendors from multiple locations. Challenging role in a fast changing world of a startup environment.
Responsibilities :
Plan, organize and execute backup, recovery and redundancy operations
Liaise with hosting vendor to manage and monitor all installed systems infrastructure
Analyze and isolate issues, make recommendations for upgrades
Ensure highest level of systems availability and maintain system efficiency
Test application performance for bottlenecks, identify, suggest and implement solutions
Work closely with developers on implementing backend solutions
Set up, manage and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment servers and tools (Gitlab-CI, ArgoCD, ArgoWorkflows, Jenkins)
Requirements
3+ years of system administration experience of web based products in a B2C technology organisation
Experience with cloud solutions AWS, (nice to have GCP)
Experience with EKS or Kubernetes stack
Experience developing "IaC" in a Cloud environment with Terraform and Ansible
Experience with relational databases (Percona, PostgreSQL)
Administer web servers and load balancers (HAProxy, Nginx)
Log aggregation and monitoring (OpenSearch, Fluent Bit, Grafana, Prometheus)
Experience in creating deployment solutions (Jenkins, ArgoCD)
Demonstrated experience of unix based systems and networking protocols
Proven track record of working with high availability systems
Ability to learn fast and thrive in a fast changing environment
High level understanding of backend and frontend technologies and frameworks
Extensive experience in troubleshooting and documenting
Ability to creatively solve technology problems
Minor development experience with Bash, Python
Familiarity with Atlassian products (Confluence, Jira)
Communication skills (both in Polish and English)
Nice to have :
Experience with NoSQL databases
Desirable :
Experience in working with people from various cultures and backgrounds
Good sense of humour and Bang! experiences are more than welcomed : )
