For all sub-profiles

  • Provide support in reception matters in the field of the sub-profile under the supervision of the Greek Reception Authorities;
  • Provide on-the-job coaching and capacity building initiatives to Reception Authorities / reception staff, as relevant;
  • Participate in meetings and liaise with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Draft documents, templates, minutes and reports;
  • Provide regular analytical and statistical reports of provided services and challenges;
  • Perform any other tasks in the interest of the service, relevant for the specific profile.
  • For the sub-profile 1 Vulnerability

    The interim will be seconded and work under the supervision of the Greek authorities in performing the following tasks :

  • Support the Greek Reception Authorities on the implementation of the Vulnerability Focal Point, providing support on identification and referral of vulnerable cases;
  • Act as a liaison among different actors involved in the assessment of vulnerabilities.
  • For the sub-profile 2 - UAMs Unaccompanied Minors

  • Support the Greek Reception Authorities in dealing with daily tasks related to the first reception of UAMs;
  • Provide first hand support to UAMs;
  • Establish trust relationships with UAMs
  • For the sub-profile 3 - CWC Communication with Communities

    The interim will be seconded and work under the supervision of the Greek authorities in performing the following tasks :

  • Support the Greek Reception Authorities in dealing with daily tasks related to the first reception of UAMs;
  • Support the Greek Reception Authorities in establishing an efficient and stable communication system with migrant communities in the Reception and Identification Centres;
  • Facilitate the involvement of migrant communities in the daily life of the Reception and Identification Center.
  • Candidates Profile

  • University degree in relevant fields (Social sciences, Education, Migration) preferred and advantageous;
  • Demonstrated previous experience in relevant tasks, according to the sub-profiles;
  • Very good understanding of the Greek migration and reception context will be an advantage;
  • Fluency in English (oral and written) is required; Fluency in Greek (oral and written) is required for sub-profiles 1 and 3, and advantageous for sub-profile 2;
  • Computer literacy, including MS Office applications (Word, Excel), use of internet and web based applications;
  • Very good intercultural / interdisciplinary communication skills.
