Who you are :
A Junior Data Scientist who feels comfortable working in a role that is highly varied and multi-faceted. You’ll play a crucial role in the Data Science team by :
Understanding, mining large and growing volume of data
Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets
Improving data visualization, generate reports and analysis
Finding actionable insights to drive ongoing product improvements
Proficiency in analysis packages (e.g. Matlab), programming languages (e.g. Python) Knowledge and / or interest in machine learning, signal processing, and / or biomedical engineering
Strong mathematical background with proficiency in statistical data analysis and data visualisation
Experience handling complex data sources to draw accurate and insightful conclusions
Good understanding of data privacy and security principles
BA / BSc from a top university in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Bioinformatics or related fields
Positive energy and can do mentality
It would be a bonus if you have :
6+ months of work experience in a relevant job position and startup environment
MA / MSc from a top university in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Bioinformatics or related fields
Good knowledge of English language
Self-starting attitude with ability to thrive in an autonomous culture
